Senj

Senj is the oldest city on the upper Adriatic, and it was founded in the time before the Romans some 3000 years ago on the hill Kuk. The current settlement is situated at the foot of the slopes Mala Kapela and Velebit. According to the 2001 census the city has a population of 8,132 inhabitants. Administratively Senj is a part of the Lika-Senj County.
